gifts

One of my favorite parts of going on this journey has been the gift giving. I have always cherished giving gifts, and the customs ones that I hand make take it to a whole other level.
It all started the holiday season after I got my cricut, and I’d like to think it’s gotten better ever since. Let’s look through the first round of gifts I made..
First up, a bucket hat for my monstera-loving sister:
I made my mom an oven mitt with an inside joke of ours on it:
I put initials on an apron for a tech-lover:
My cousin graduated college and was going to be a basketball coach, so I made him a custom cup that matched the saying on his invite (“He done did it”)
At the end of his season, my mom wanted to commemorate him and so we had his team sign the ball (not pictured) and we decorated a case for it to go in:
Most recently this holiday season, I made my brother-in-law-to-be two gifts: a recipe stand and a tshirt with his favorite things on it.
His favorite animal is a moose, he is a big hockey fan, and tiffany blue is his favorite color. My sister requested BB8 and R2D2 depicted, and I thought it would be cute to have them chasing each other. I worked with her on the font and I think it is one of my favorite designs I have ever made. I ended up making the characters out of shapes in Design Space and it was fulfilling to see it come together.
I just got done celebrating Hailey's first birthday, which was adorably themed "one groovy baby." I decided to make her a themed shirt, keychain, and card.
